LA KINGS X YOOM

YOOM signed on as the LA Kings Innovation partner to help them create unique, innovative content and fan experiences throughout the 2022-2023 season. 

YOOM volumetrically captured the LA Kings Players and Mascot with its mobile studio the pre-season media day. 

From this single set of captures, YOOM worked with the LA Kings to create several unique pieces of content for season 2022-2023 including AR fan experience, jumbotron and broadcast content, 3D Billboard and digital collectibles.

SXSW x SOUNDWAVES

2023 FILM AND TV AUDIENCE AWARD WINNER

SXSW Film and TV Festival was looking to create an event that would expand global access to the festival.

SoundWaves – an immersive and interactive music experience launched at SXSW 2023 and available globally for free on mobile, desktop and VR devices.

YOOM volumetrically captured 11 musical acts and used its proprietary web streaming format to create a 3-day virtual, interactive music festival in a unique WebGL environment created on the DreamWave platform.

Paul Oakenfold, legendary electronic music pioneer, was looking to innovate by bringing his iconic DJ set into the Metaverse. 

YOOM partnered with Paul to launch Perfectoverse, 72-minute concert film and 10-minute interactive experience.  

YOOM volumetrically captured Paul playing a 15  minute set at its studio in Los Angeles, CA.  Using its proprietary web streaming format, YOOM integrated the performance into a custom created interactive WebGL environment  that gave fans a play immersive experience and allowed them to become the director in a 360° world.

VIRTUAL PRODUCTION & VFX USE CASE – “THE EGG”

YOOM has the honor to partner up with the Israeli XR director Yoni Geva on the adaptation of ‘The Egg’ by award-winning writer Andy Weir, and creates the volumetric capture assets of the protagonists, used to expand the camera and VFX flexibility capabilities of the virtual studio.

INTERACTIVE VR GAME SERIES – PRISM

YOOM partnered with veteran television creatives to create the pilot episode of a Narrative VR episodic Content Series. PriSM takes place in a dynamic open-world setting, offering viewers an action-packed narrative VR game experience that can be fully enjoyed in 6DOF.
